Bio
Gabriel Marderosian is a Metro Detroit-based ceramicist and painter whose work delves into the realms of nostalgia, dreams, and the beauty of nature. Her art draws on the essence of human experiences; eliciting emotions and memories that resonate deeply with her audience, transporting them to a world where memories and emotions intertwine with the splendor of the natural world.
A strong advocate for accessibility in the arts, Gabriel has been a driving force in making art more inclusive and approachable for all. Following graduation from Michigan State University, her journey as an art educator began; inspiring young minds in Lansing through a local arts nonprofit. Currently, Gabriel serves as a dedicated k/12 Art Educator in Detroit-area schools, where she fosters a love for self-expression and imagination in her students.
As an artist, Gabriel Marderosian continually explores new techniques and mediums, constantly pushing the boundaries of her craft. Her dedication to the arts and commitment to accessibility make her not just a talented creator but also a driving force in enriching the artistic landscape of Detroit and beyond.
